At Froise Guitars, each instrument is individually built using traditional luthiery techniques, with a focus on responsiveness, playability, and character. Rather than following a fixed production formula, every guitar is approached as its own design — shaped by the needs of the player, the materials available, and the unique personality of the instrument itself.
The workshop produces both completed instruments available for purchase and custom-built guitars made in collaboration with clients. From balanced steel-string acoustics to modern multi-scale designs and electric guitars, the aim is always to create instruments that feel distinctive, inspiring, and rewarding to play.
Froise Guitars is a small independent workshop based in Port Elizabeth, where I build handcrafted instruments with a focus on tone, responsiveness, and individuality.
No two instruments are the same. I don’t follow a fixed production model—instead, each build is treated as its own design, shaped by the player’s needs, the materials available, and the personality that emerges as the instrument develops.
